Become an Advisor

Vista Advising Group. For leaders who refuse to stay stuck.

We are building a network of advisors who want to bring that experience to leaders who are serious about movement. This is not a directory. This is a standard. If you want to advise leaders with honesty, clarity, and a bias toward action, you may be a fit.

The Mission

Why Vista Needs Advisors

Vista is leader-first, but leaders need the right guides to help them move.

Leaders Need Operator-Level Partners

Not consultants who advise from a distance, but operators who have carried outcomes and understand real constraints.

Vista Exists to Match

We connect leaders with the right expertise at the right time. Your experience becomes the bridge to their next move.

Expand Our Range

Advisors expand the range of stages and constraints we can serve. Your specific experience helps us help more leaders.

Our Standard

The Vista Advisor Standard

Vista advisors are selected for what they have done and how they show up. We look for:

  • Operator-level experience, not theory
  • Stage awareness and the ability to meet leaders where they actually are
  • Comfort with direct, respectful challenge
  • A bias toward action and follow-through
  • Professionalism, discretion, and a high bar for integrity

We protect the brand by protecting the standard. That means we say no often.

Fit Check

Who This Is For

This is for operators who:

  • Want to advise leaders who are serious about making decisions and moving
  • Can challenge without ego and support without coddling
  • Value fit and outcomes more than volume
  • Want to be part of a network built around credibility and execution

This is not for people who:

  • Want passive lead flow or volume-based introductions
  • Rely on selling a packaged program as the answer to every situation
  • Avoid accountability when the work gets uncomfortable
  • Treat advisory like a commodity transaction
The Relationship

How Advisors Work With Vista

Vista is leader-first. Leaders come to us because they refuse to stay stuck. We run an intake, then recruit and vet advisors based on the leader's context. When an introduction is a fit, Vista brings you into the conversation with clear expectations.

Leaders are not browsing profiles. They are selecting a working relationship after context and qualifications are already established.

FAQ

No. You choose the types of engagements you accept: advisory, fractional, project partner, or any combination. You control your availability and the scope of work you take on.
It depends on fit and leader flow. Vista is leader-first, meaning we match based on context. You may receive introductions regularly or occasionally, depending on how your experience aligns with incoming leaders.
Fee structures vary by engagement type and scope. Vista works with you to establish fair, transparent terms for each engagement. We can discuss specifics during the interview process.
Vista works across industries where operator-level experience matters. We look for advisors who have carried outcomes in roles like CEO, CFO, COO, CRO, and other leadership positions, regardless of industry.
Yes. You are never obligated to take an engagement. If an introduction is not a fit for you—for any reason—you can decline. We expect you to be thoughtful about what you take on.
Vista handles leader intake, vetting, matching, and framing the engagement. You bring your operator experience to the leader and do the actual advising, fractional work, or project partnership. Vista supports the relationship but does not manage the engagement day-to-day.
